The Society is also registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

The Society's Library Fund is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) from 01 Jul 2000. It is covered by Items 1 & 4 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 .
